The Aplis tourist/environmental complex originated from the idea of restoring the complex of buildings related to the old sawmill present there. The property of the entire complex is owned by the Carnic Woods Consortium, which aimed to recover the whole complex and activate a series of initiatives related to the structures in it, trying to spread an environmental and historical culture of life in the mountains and particularly in Carnia. It allows, through a visit to the Naturalistic Museum, the observation of springs and ponds, a look at the enclosures of Deer and Fallow deer, and the knowledge of the native fauna of the territory. Meanwhile, visiting the Venetian sawmill museum, the walk to the ancient kiln, and the pentagonal garden, it's possible to observe a glimpse of the work and life of the workers who worked in the sawmill.

LA TRADIZIONE DELLA CUCINA CARNICA

Spacious dining room. The cuisine, prepared by our chefs, offers a predominantly typical "à la carte" menu using local produce and game, with some international dishes and a focus on the needs of guests. The restaurant is particularly suitable for hosting lunches, dinners and banquets. 

For guests staying at the hotel, the restaurant offers a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner with a choice of menu with the possibility of tasting one or more typical dishes daily. The restaurant's opening hours are as follows: for lunch from 12 noon to 2 p.m. and for dinner from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., subject to change upon request according to the needs of customers as they arise. 

The hotel is 1 km from the start of the legendary Monte Zoncolan climb of the Giro d'Italia and 7 km from the start of the cable car that takes you to the Monte Zoncolan ski area. Possibility of special rates for groups and families for the purchase of ski passes or the hire of sports equipment.
